hall of pain
The Hall of Pain is dedicated to those of us who walk away from the game with more than just a stinging sensation. If you ever want motivation to wear adequate protective clothing look here. Then again I suppose there are just some really hardcore paintballers out there.
Exhibit A: This colourful figure is JK, one of the last men standing in an immortality match-up. You're only out when you retire hurt, or run out of paint.
Another close call? Unfortunately besides actually wearing a box, there is little that can be done to protect this sensitive area. Maybe a few extra pairs of socks?
Another survivor of one of our immortality matches. Who says Paintball isn't an art?!
Marcel, you never told us about your extra nipple before?!
One of the first items of protective clothing I bought was a pair of gloves. Our close-combat urban games usually yield one or two bleeders - never anything serious though!
Paintball or a shaving accident? Even with full face masks, the occasional chip of paintball shell, can draw some blood.
Clearly a t-shirt isn't sufficient protective gear! Not only was there a clear transfer of force, but also some paint!
I'll say it again - a t-shirt isn't adequate protective gear for paintball. Neverthessless, some paintballers ARE just hardcore.
Note: The purpose of the Hall of Pain is to highlight the necessity of using adequate protective gear when playing. Paintball is not a game without some pain, but usually it just stings a bit. Anyway, the bruises make good "war-wounds" to show off at work/school. Please direct any comments, questions or complaints to JK via games@playpaintball.co.za

Apparently a button-up shirt isn't much good either!
